BRAMALEA CITY CENTRE ANNOUNCES EXPANSION - Ben Mulroney, Danny Fernandes andKeshia Chanté among special guests in attendance to celebrate

BRAMPTON, ON, April 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Bramalea City Centre (BCC) is excited to announce their Grand Opening event on April 20, 2011. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the mall will be filled with exciting festivities and performances to celebrate its new stores and new look. The event will be hosted by etalk's Ben Mulroney and will include live performances and a special "meet and greet" with Canadian pop artist, Danny Fernandes and Brampton's very own Princess of Pop, Keshia Chanté.

"We are very excited to celebrate the mall's expansion and are also proud to give back to our community at this special event with some of Canada's most noted celebrities."

On Thursday, April 7 only, BCC will be giving away 100 wristbands at Guest Services at 5:00 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. The remaining 100 wristbands will be distributed through various contests with Z103.5, Toronto Star, SNAP Brampton, and to candidates that sign up to BCC's e-newsletter or "like" the BCC Facebook page. Wristband holders will be awarded with a special "meet and greet" and photo opportunity with Danny Fernandes and Keshia Chanté.

Bramalea City Centre has partnered with the William Osler Hospital Foundation and will be donating proceeds through the BCC Tree of Life initiative. Goodie bags will be available for purchase at $50 each, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Foundation in support of Brampton Civic Hospital. Each goodie bag contains a retail value of $200 and will include: $50 gift card to Pickle Barrel, Spring Rolls or Moxie's; $25 gift cards from Sears, Clark's Shoes, Le Chateau and Eikonic House of Barbers; $10 gift card and lip gloss from H&M Michel Germain body wash (full size) from The Bay ($30 value) and more! In addition, some of the goodie bags will contain larger prizes including $1,000 shopping sprees.

As part of the festivities, guests are invited to the makeover satellite located at the main entrance of the mall. The makeover stations will include makeup applications and free hair styling by senior artists at MAC and Eikonic House of Barbers, which will be provided between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. To top off the festivities, models will be on-site to promote the launch of Michel Germain's latest perfumes.
